Kazan residents can take part in the DigitalSkills IT Championship

Applications for participation are accepted until August 10, 2022.

The acceptance of applications for the IV Industry DigitalSkills Championship in the information technology has started in Kazan. The Championship will be held in the capital of the republic of Tatarstan from 21 to 24 September as part of the Kazan Digital Week International Forum.

Employees of IT-companies, schoolchildren and students of secondary vocational institutions and universities can participate in the Championship. Competitions for participants aged 16 to 35 will be held in 30 competencies, including Machine learning and big data, Flying robotics, Web technologies, 3D modeling for computer games, Software solutions for business and others. Another part of the competitions for participants under the age of 49 will be held in the FutureSkills competencies, which include City Farming, Designing neural interfaces, Digital Fashion Designer, Quantum Technologies and others.

An expert group of the Agency for the Development of Professions and Skills will evaluate the participants. It includes more than 300 representatives of the universities and IT-experts, which also develop tasks according to the current needs of the economy.

The applications for participation are accepted until August 10, 2022.

Participants and guests of the competitions will be able to visit excursions, interactive stands and zones of the Try a Skill format, Tatarstan Center for the Development of Professional Competencies reported.

Last year, about 300 people from 29 regions of the country participated in the Championship. “The studentsb at such events can not only demonstrate their skills, but also contribute to the achievement of technological sovereignty and economic security by creating completely unique solutions for the state and business”, - said Dmitry Chernyshenko, Russian Deputy Prime Minister.

According to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, the championship has practical benefits for Tatarstan, as its participants develop and offer new solutions, and most importantly have the opportunity to find new customers and employers.

The championship will be held with the support of Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia, the Government of the republic of Tatarstan and the Agency for the Development of Professions and Skills.
