Last night heating was started in all 9 houses and a kindergarten.
(KZN.RU, April 12, Ekaterina Vislavskaya). The work of the boiler room in the Zalesny village in the Kirovsky district has been resumed. Rescuers cleared the storm sewers and eliminated the clay lock that caused the flooding of the building with thawed water, said Ferdinant Timurkhanov, the head of the Civil Protection Directorate of Kazan.
The signal about the boiler room flooding was received on April 10 at 6 pm. The work of the boiler room was suspended until the elimination of the consequences of the emergency. At 2.15 am on April 12, a full launch of one of the boiler boilers was made. “The heat is served in all 9 houses and a kindergarten, which is serviced by the boiler room. There are no complaints from the population”, said Ferdinand Timurkhanov. The launch of the second boiler is not necessary, he said.
However, the head of the department warned that if the air temperature abruptly rises within 3 days to 15-18 degrees Celsius, the situation with flooding may recur. To avoid this, specialists will have to make a land border around the boiler room and lay an additional section of the pipe to the storm sewer that passes through the private sector.
