Almost 14 thousand tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets per day

594 road workers and 387 units of special equipment will clean the streets today.

(KZN.RU, February 15). 13762 tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets over the past day. 670 road workers and 769 units of special equipment were involved in work on the streets. 92 combined road machines, 66 CRM “Boschung”, 11 snow loaders, 113 brush tractors, 25 graders, 97 wheel loaders, 53 MKSM “Barsik”, 286 dump trucks, and others were among them.

84 tons of anti-icing treatment were used on the roads per day, including 4 tons of reagent and 80 tons of sand-salt mixture.

According to the districts’ administrations, 594 road workers will go to the streets of Kazan for snow removal and 387 units of special equipment will be used today.

In total, more than 593.5 thousand tons of snow were removed from the streets of the city since the beginning of the winter period, reports the Committee of External Improvement of the Executive Committee.
