More than 16 thousand tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets per day

600 road workers and 388 units of special equipment will clean the streets today.

(KZN.RU, February 13). 16122 tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets over the past day. 683 road workers and 833 units of special equipment were involved in work on the streets. 86 combined road machines, 69 CRM “Boschung”, 19 snow loaders, 116 brush tractors, 35 graders, 106 wheel loaders, 52 MKSM “Barsik”, 314 dump trucks, and others were among them.

135 tons of anti-icing treatment were used on the roads per day, including 4 tons of reagent and 131 tons of sand-salt mixture.

According to the districts’ administrations, 600 road workers will go to the streets of Kazan for snow removal and 388 units of special equipment will be used today.

In total, more than 563.5 thousand tons of snow were removed from the streets of the city since the beginning of the winter period, reports the Committee of External Improvement of the Executive Committee.
