More than 12 thousand tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets per day

594 road workers and 353 units of special equipment will clean the streets today.

(KZN.RU, February 16). 12356 tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets over the past day. 662 road workers and 780 units of special equipment were involved in work on the streets. 89 combined road machines, 68 CRM “Boschung”, 14 snow loaders, 117 brush tractors, 32 graders, 100 wheel loaders, 52 MKSM “Barsik”, 276 dump trucks, and others were among them.

130 tons of anti-icing treatment were used on the roads per day, including 6 tons of reagent and 124 tons of sand-salt mixture.

According to the districts’ administrations, 594 road workers will go to the streets of Kazan for snow removal and 353 units of special equipment will be used today.

In total, more than 606 thousand tons of snow were removed from the streets of the city since the beginning of the winter period, reports the Committee of External Improvement of the Executive Committee.
