More than 14 thousand tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets per day

695 units of special equipment were used in the removal of snow.

(KZN.RU, January 30). 14008 tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets over the past day. 638 road workers and 695 units of special equipment were involved in work on the streets. 98 combined road machines, 69 CRM “Boschung”, 18 snow loaders, 129 brush tractors, 32 graders, 86 wheel loaders, 48 MKSM “Barsik”, 202 dump trucks, and others were among them.

635 tons of anti-icing treatment were used on the roads per day, including 11 tons of reagent and 624 tons of sand-salt mixture.

According to the districts’ administrations, 552 road workers will go to the streets of Kazan for snow removal and 337 units of special equipment will be used today.

In total, more than 383.7 thousand tons of snow were removed from the streets of the city since the beginning of the winter period, reports the Committee of External Improvement of the Executive Committee.
