In 7 years, the number of winners of the All-Russian Science Olympiad of School Students has doubled

In 2022, 735 students took prizes at the regional stage, 142 at the final stage.

Every year, the number of finalists and winners of the All-Russian Science Olympiad of School Students increases in Kazan. In 2022, 735 students took prizes at the regional stage – 87 more than a year earlier. At the All-Russian stage, the number of finalists increased by 27 compared with 2021 and amounted to 142 schoolchildren. The head of the Department of Education Irek Rizvanov announced it to the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin at the report on the results of the past year.

In 7 years, the number of finalists and winners of the All-Russian Science Olympiad of School Students has almost doubled - from 72 to 142.

Monetary rewards stimulate schoolchildren to participate in the Science Olympiad. Over the past five years, the number of grant recipients and the amount of allocated funds have increased significantly: in 2016, 495 schoolchildren and 338 teachers received cash awards, and in 2022 – 1,007 students and 514 teachers.

Irek Rizvanov also noted that 84 Kazan schoolchildren obtained 100 points at the Unified State Exam last school year. At the same time, 6 Kazan graduates received the maximum result in two subjects.

Medals “For special achievements in teaching” were awarded to every tenth graduate of Kazan schools. “This is a high indicator of the level of education in our city,”- I. Rizvanov said.
