The skill fair “Skills Bazaar” will open in Gorky Park on May 19

<p> (KZN.RU, May 13). Kazan citizens can try their hand at floristics, carpentry work, cooking and mobile robotics in Gorky Park. On May 19, the skill fair Skills Bazaar will be held here on the eve of the 45th WorldSkills Championships. </p> <p> There will be 20 workshops, where professionals will teach everyone to their craft free of charge. Thus, citizens and tourists will be able to gain knowledge in the field of customization, needlework, learn to sculpt from clay, get acquainted with glass, leather and welding skills, learn the secrets of the beauty industry, and much more. </p> <p> In addition, the Volga environmental company will hold master classes on the separate waste collection and the manufacture of items from recycled materials. The guests of the workshop will learn how to make PET-bottle cases, stamps out of caps, cardboard toys, anti-stress eco-pendants “Save the water!” and learn the technique of making paintings from fabric “Kinusaiga”. They will also talk about hazardous waste and the principles of safe water consumption. The workshop will have a recycling center where you can bring waste paper, plastic bottles, household chemicals bottles, polystyrene packaging, glass bottles, and cans. </p> <p> Separately, there will be a children's workshop. Young guests will be able to try on the professions of design engineer (for children from 4 to 14 years old), florist (over 4 years old), assembler of the drainage system (from 6 to 14 years old), carpenter (over 6 years old), and also learn to weave (from 5 to 14 years old). </p> <p> The Skills Bazaar will be held in Kazan for the second time. Last year, it gathered more than 12000 visitors, reports the press service of the 45th WorldSkills Kazan 2019. </p>
