The exhibition includes various types of deceptions of the XVI-XX centuries
On February 22, the exhibition “Don't believe your eyes. Illusions in art” will open at the Hermitage-Kazan center. The exhibition includes paintings, graphics, sculpture and decorative and applied art from the collection of the State Hermitage Museum.
The exhibits reflect the variety of types of deceptions of the XVI-XX centuries. These are illusory images, imitation of objects, the illusion of wildlife or imitation of various materials.
Visitors will be able to immerse in the world of unusual art with children's areas, fragrant and tactile stations. The program includes excursions and a game program for children and parents.
The exhibition will be the central event of the Hermitage Days in Kazan, which will be held om 20- 24 February, the Press Office of the Hermitage-Kazan center reports.
