Citizens will be able to work out in the fresh air, dance on the embankment, try Italian gelato and Japanese modji at the ice cream festival, as well as watch an open-air cinema. The main event of the upcoming weekend will be the Tatar national holiday Sabantuy. Residents and guests of the city will celebrate at four sites. Kazan citizens will be able to actively start the day outside under the supervision of a professional coach.  </p> <p> <b>Yoga in the Gorkinsko-Ometievsky forest</b> </p> <p> June 22 at 10 am </p> <p> Yoga class will be held in the Gorkinsko-Ometievsky forest. Professional coaches will teach citizens asana, breathing techniques and meditation. Popular Tatar artists Aidar Suleimanov and Danir Sabirov will perform on the central Maidan in the Berezovaya Roscha of Mirny. The main guest of the festival will be the “Turetsky Choir” with a special concert program. Also, the best dance and vocal collectives from all over the country will perform in the dramatized prolog. </p> <p> <b>Sabantuy in the Berezovaya Roscha in Derbyshki</b> </p> <p> June 23 at 9.30 am </p> <p> A theatrical performance “Kazan Solgese” (Tat. “Kazan Towel”) will be staged for Kazan and guests of the capital on the Maidan of Berezovaya Roscha in Derbyshki. Creative groups, soloists and choreographic ensembles of the city will take part in it. The headliner of the holiday in Derbyshki will be Salavat Fatkhutdinov, a People’s Artist of Tatarstan and Honored Artist of Russia, and Tatar pop stars Salavat Minnekhanov and Guzelem. </p> <p> <b>Sabantuy at the Lebyazhie Lake</b> </p> <p> June 23 at 9.30 am </p> <p> Well-known artists of the Tatar stage for the guests of the festival will perform on the main stage in the forest at the Lebyazhie Lake: Zainab Farkhetdinova, Alsu Fazlyeva and Azat Fazlyev, Rayaz Fasikhov, and others.
