Weekend in Kazan: “Clean games”, food fest, film show in open-air and military reconstruction

The citizens will be able to go in for sports in the parks, taste for Czech trdelníks and craft pelmenis, to learn to draw and to take part in ecological quest. The Railroad Worker's Day at the Yudino settlement

August 3 and 4 at 9.30

The Railroad Worker's Day will be celebrated in the Yudino settlement. The open-air stage near stadium “Lokomotiv” will become the central holiday site.

A big festive concert and scientific crio-show will be held for the Yudino inhabitants. The entertainment children's playgrounds will work on the open area, and the itinerant trade will be organized here.

The festive program will be held at the children's railway where on 3 and 4 August, children in the age of up to 14 years will be able to take a ride on a train free of charge. There will be entertainment-animation show, free ice-cream, competitions and prizes for the children.

The Food Fest on the Kremlin Embankment

August 3 and 4 from 11.00 till 22.00

Everyone will be able to taste for some extraordinary dishes - Thai pancakes, craft pelmenis, ice-cream in the coco, nitrogen cocktails, Czech trdelníks, and much more. The citizens will be able to watch the festival performances of popular dancing cover and rock groups, barman-show, children's show on run bikes, master-classes, board games, face-painting and children's interactive theatre-museum.

The reenactment festival at the National museum of RT

August 3 and 4 from 12.00

This weekend the interregional reenactment festival “The East - The West: Domestic wars of Russia“will be held in the National museum of RT. The participants of military-historical movement from Tatarstan and the other regions of the country will reconstruct the battles of two Domestic wars.

The opening ceremony of festival will take place on August 3 at 12.10 at the yard of the museum. The opening will be preceded by the dramatized prologue on the square of May 1, the beginning of event is at 12.00.

The yard celebration at the parkway on Fuchik Street

August 3 from 13.00 till 16.00

The yard celebration, which will be held at the parkway on Fuchik Street, will become a conclusive event of the program of domestic camps “My eco-summer” and will teach children how to preserve and respect nature.

The guests will be able to take part in the ecological quest, the participants of which will take upon yourself the role of city rescuers. As well there will be games, competitions, photozone, and other entertainment events for the children.

The citizens will be able to watch the film of Barrack Gudman about one of most famous rock-festivals which was held in August 1969 in the USA.

The birthday of Alafuzov factory

August 3 at 19.00

Everyone will be able to visit the party. There will be rich entertainment program, 3 dance floors, videoinstallation, special film shows and new menu.

The film show in open-air at the Staro-Tatarskaya sloboda

August 3 at 20.30

On August 3, the Oscar-winning film “Green book" will be shown at the Staro-Tatarskaya sloboda on the scene located on Sh.Mardzhani Street near the “Pech” restaurant. Everyone can join the film show.

Drawing courses on the Kremlin Embankment

August 4 from 12.00 till 14.00

Every Sunday the free drawing lessons in the open-air are held on the Kremlin Embankment. The teachers will help everyone to master several of the most common genres of painting, such as still-life, landscape, drawings from nature, pop art.

The International “Clean games”

August 4 at 14.00

For the first time the ecological quest "Clean games" will be held in Kazan, its participants will compete in garbage collection. Within 2-3 hours, the teams will collect waste in a certain area and earn points, which can then be used to obtain additional equipment. The winners will receive prizes, and all collected garbage will be sent for recycling.

Different contests have been prepared for the participants of ecological game. They are searching for unusual things, riddles, accuracy competitions, creating birdhouses, as the organisers of game inform.

To participate in the game, you should register on the website. The collection of players is scheduled for 14.00 at Nizhneserginsky dam, 1.

The "Green fitness" festival in the Gorky Park

On Sunday, everyone is invited to the "Green fitness" festival. The program includes classes in a variety of sports – yoga, stretching, functional exercises, master-class in pair dancing, jumping fitness, master class in body ballet, kickboxing, Kendo and saber fencing for adults and children.
