Weekend in the open air: the Kremlin Open Fest and the open-air cinema screening

From 28 to 29 of July, Kazan citizens can ride on a catamaran, dance a zumba, and train in Gorky Park.

(KZN.RU, July 27). Summer in Kazan continues: this weekend residents can dance zumbu, take part in training from the project “Green Fitness”, and listen to different music from the classics to rock in the Kazan Kremlin.

The summer program “YASNO” in the parks of Kazan

On July 28 and 29, a street culture festival “Street Positive”, the “Friendship Market”, the Day of the Russian Navy, and the final concert of the Chamber Orchestra of the “Theater on Bulak” will be held in Kazan. Detailed information about the events that will be held this weekend in the Kazan parks can be viewed in the summer program “YASNO”.

The Scientific and Technical Festival “Ecovolna” on the Kremlin Embankment

On July 28, a unique catamaran working on electric motors and solar batteries will arrive in the water area of Kazan as part of the expedition “Ecovolna”, as well as the scientific and technical festival of the same name. Everyone can ride on the catamaran, talk with the leaders of the expedition, the crew and learn about the use of alternative energy sources in Russia and the world.

The beginning is at 11 am on the Kremlin embankment. The admission is free.

The Kremlin Open Fest in the Kazan Kremlin

On July 28, another concert in the Kremlin Open Fest will be on the territory of the Kazan Kremlin. Spectators are waiting for a violin show from the duo MisStereo, which will present to the public a variety of music: from classics to rock, from Vivaldi to “Nirvana”.

Irkya Gainemkhametova, the first Tatar pop violin, the author and performer of her own songs and compositions, the soloist of the folk band Super tatar will perform in the second part of the concert.

The concert will start at 3 pm in the Cannon Court. The admission is free.

The film screenings on the Kaban Lake embankment

Evening screenings the Kaban Lake embankment will continue this Saturday with Kazan films. The guests will see the documentary film “Odya” about the people of Komi (by Edgar Bartenev, 2003), the short film “In a broken microscope we'll see Kazan” (by Sergey Litovets, 2005), and the love story between a city guy and a wood nymph “Suhaya River” (by Alexey Barykin, 2013).

The event starts at 9 pm on the embankment of the Nizhny Kaban. The admission is free.

The Zumba dance classes on the Kaban Lake

On July 28, the master class on Latin-American dances Zumba will be oat then Kaban Lake. 13 licensed instructors will conduct the classes.

The beginning of the dance event at 6 pm. The meeting place is a playground near the Kamal Theater. The entrance is free by prior registration.

The Family Festival “Parade of Children-2018” in the park “Kyrlay”

On July 29, the park “Kyrlay” invites children and their parents to the city family festival “Parade of Children-2018”. The program of the holiday includes the concert and entertainment performances with the participation of Tatar entertainers, attractions, interactive, animators and costumed characters, jugglers, cotton candy, and popcorn.

The family holiday will take place at the amusement park “Kyrlay”, the opening is at 10.30 am. The admission is free.

The Sunday Festival “Green Fitness”

On June 29, the central park named after Gorky will host a sports festival within the framework of the project “Green Fitness”. Coaches for zumba, yoga, crossfit, and children's wushu will be waiting for Kazan citizens and guests of the city at several sites of the park. Face paint lessons will be held for younger guests.

You can join the training from 5 pm to 7 pm on the large lawn of the Gorky Park. The admission is free by prior registration.
