Five hundred people, including Paralympians in 15 sports, can train in the first sports venue at the Yardem Mosque on a daily basis.
A specialized sports venue for people with disabilities is planned to be opened on Fuchika Street in Kazan. These plans were announced by the Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin at a meeting with journalists at the City Hall.
Summing up the results of the year, the mayor reminded that this year the first specialized sports venue for people with disabilities was opened at the Yardem Mosque on Serov Street. “We managed to complete it before the borders were closed and to equip it with the best equipment. And today it is very popular. We plan to open one more specialized sports venue on Fuchika Street,”- I. Metshin shared his plans.
For reference, the first sports venue for people with disabilities opened in August in Kazan. Five hundred people, including Paralympians in 15 sports, can train on a daily basis in a two-storey building with an area of 1,200 sq.m.
On the ground floor of the complex there is a multifunctional sports gym and a training hall for wheelchaired visitors. On the second floor there are gyms and cardio training hall, a massage room and a room with equipment for electrical muscle stimulation.
