Three levels of tasks have been prepared for the participants
Residents of Kazan have an opportunity to take part in the «Tatar Dictation» on November 8 – 10 in an online and offline mode. For the first time, the dictation texts will be available in Latin – the Tatar grammar community has adapted them for participants outside Russia.
Organizers have provided tasks with three levels of difficulty. An easy one will be available for participants from abroad. They will listen the novel «Agydel» by Mirsai Amir. Residents of Russian regions will listen «Tugan Yagym – Yashel Bishek» by Gumer Bashir as part of the medium-difficulty task. A difficult text has been prepared for participants from Tatarstan and Bashkortostan – they will write an extract from Sharif Kamal's novel «Matur Tuganda».
In Kazan, the main event will take place at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communications of Kazan Federal University. There will also be an exhibition dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Sharif Kamal, organized by the Tatarstan National Museum and the Museum of Tatar Literature.
The reading of the dictation will be broadcast on November 8-10 at 10 am on the TNV-Tatarstan and TNV-Planet channels, with the participation of artists and celebrities. Gulnaz Safarova, from the National Library of Tatarstan, will host the event. Online registration is available on the official website.
Last year, the event took place in 31 countries, covering more than 5 thousand sites. About 31,000 people participated online and over a million took part in the offline dictation.
The organizers of the literacy campaign were the World Forum of Tatar Youth, the World Congress of Tatars, the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as Kazan Federal University.
