On February 9, at the national exhibition of civil aviation infrastructure NAIS-2022, the Air Gate of Russia award ceremony took place. Kazan International Airport named after G.Tukay won in the nomination “The best airport in the category from 2 to 4 million passengers per year” in 2021, according to the airport's website.
Sergey Romantsov, Director General of Kazan International Airport, noted that this victory is a prestigious award and merit of the entire airport team. “According to the results of the year, we served 3,876,000 passengers, which is 11.7% more than in the pre-pandemic 2019. The company does a lot of work with industry experts, implements advanced technologies to increase labor productivity, has experienced and qualified staff, and also pays special attention to the passengers’ service,”- he stressed.
