Kazan yacht club trainees will represent Tatarstan at the international sailing regatta

Sevastopol International Cup will be held on October 3-6 and will welcome up to 27 crews from around the world.

Kazan yacht club trainees will represent Tatarstan at the international sailing regatta “Sevastopol International Cup”. The competition will be held on Crimea on October 3-6 and will be a part of the Grand Maritime festival "Sailing week of Sevastopol".

The strongest yachtsmen of Russia will participate in the regatta as well as the Olympic and World champions, teams of the National sailing League and foreign teams. The organizers of the event expect participation of 27 crews from different countries.

The Republic will be represented by the experienced crew of the sailing team Alga Tatarstan, which includes trainees of the Kazan yacht club, numerous winners of all – Russian and international competitions in sailing- Vadim Trofimov, Roman Medvedev, Yuri Bozhedomov, Boris Petukhov and Mikhail Indeykin.

Sevastopol International Cup regatta will be held in the format of "races with interchanges" on international J/70 class yachts. On October 5 and 6, the race will be live broadcasted.
