Volunteer of the «Tom Sawyer Fest» will be able to participate in restoration of cultural heritage sites

<p> (KZN.RU, March 28). Tatarstan will become a pilot site on organizations in involving volunteers to restoration of cultural heritage sites. Within the «Tom Sawyer Fest» the Kazan volunteers will join restoration of the houses faces which are the cultural heritage sites. </p> <p> All Kazan volunteer will repair 2 objects. It is the house №42 on Volkov street which is the the cultural heritage sites of the republic level. In 1910-1943 the chemist Alexey Bogorodsky lived here. </p> <p> The second «participant» of the festival became Berkutov's house which is located in the house 11 on Fatykh Karim street. It is the object of cultural heritage sites of municipal level, the sample of wooden city architecture which combained the Tatar national architecture and modernist style elements. The building was built at the end of 19th century, Nikolay Berkutov, the doctor of fifth police part of Kazan, lived in it. </p> <p> The organizations in involving volunteers to restoration of cultural heritage sites was made possible by the сhanges in Federal Law legislation. The innovations proved particularly useful for the movement on restoration of historical appearance of the «Tom Sawyer Fest» houses. The project includes more than 30 cities throughout the country, notes the press-service of the festival. </p> <p> In Kazan «Tom Sawyer Fest» will started in June.
