Vladimir Zhavoronkov, Deputy Minister of health of the Republic of Tatarstan, reported on the COVID-19, according to him, the situation remains stable. In addition, the headquarters discussed the operation of shuttles for medical workers from other regions of the republic, as well as the accommodation of doctors in sanatoriums, hostels or hotels – additional medical staff will be required in case of worsening the sanitary and epidemiological situation. Accommodation facilities are determined in advance according to its proximity to worksite.
Alexander Mishchikhin, head of the Kazan Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, reported on ensuring law and order in the city.
Rustam Gafarov, deputy head of the Executive Committee, reported that presently 507 children attend 26 kindergartens in all districts of the city, which is 23 more than yesterday. In addition, he noted that supplementary education institutions are preparing to start distance learning.
148 elderly citizens of Kazan applied to the city volunteer headquarters for assistance in purchasing medicines and food, and 145 of them received assistance. In total, since the beginning of its operation, volunteer headquarters provided assistance to elderly people 1752 times.
Deputy head of the Executive Committee Ildar Shakirov reported about the increase of passenger traffic in the morning - by 5%, up to 162 thousand passengers (before the introduction of self-isolation regime, passenger traffic was about 808 thousand passengers per day). In this regard, it was also decided to increase by 5% the number of buses this morning. At the same time, the number of buses is 40% of the usual quantity, while passenger traffic is only 20%. Thus, the bus occupancy rate in the morning and evening can reach 70-80%, and in the daytime it again reduces to 5%.
