During the WorldSkills Kazan 2019, performances, festivals and master classes will be held in the parks of the capital of Tatarstan

The gastronomic festival “Delicious Kazan” will be timed to the championship.

(KZN.RU, July 17). In the days of the WorldSkills Kazan 2019, residents and guests of the capital of Tatarstan will enjoy a rich cultural program. Concerts, festivals, performances and master classes will be held in Kazan parks, squares and embankments for all comers.

One of the main points of attraction from 22 to 27 of August will be the Gorkinsko-Ometievsky forest. The opening and closing ceremonies of the championship will be broadcast on screens and the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 mobile workshop will be located there. In addition, the park will have an interactive zone “Ticket to the Future” for schoolchildren who want to decide on the choice of profession.

Another concert venue will be located near the Staro-Tatarskaya Sloboda on the embankment of Kaban Lake. It will tell visitors about modern Tatarstan. On August 23-25, Tatarstan artists and musicians will perform on the floating stage, as well as show films and theatrical performances.

On August 23-26, Gorky Park will also have a concert venue, and master classes will be held for all visitors. There will be performers from street theaters and animation groups, as well as the mobile workshop WorldSkills Kazan 2019.

The festival dedicated to the history of professions will be held on August 23-25 in Lyadskoy Garden. The program includes lectures by famous Russian scientists and a book exhibition of thematic, scientific, and professional literature.

On August 23-26, concerts will take place on Bauman Street with the participation of artists, folk bands and the orchestra of folk instruments. Also, the main tourist street of the city organizes an exhibition of handicrafts and master classes on playing national instruments, reports the ANO “Directorate of Sports and Social Projects”.

The 45th WorldSkills Kazan Championship 2019 will be held in the capital of Tatarstan from 22 to 27 of August. More than 1300 contestants from 63 countries and regions will take part in it and compete in 56 competencies.
