The festival was organized on the territory of the school on the eve of the Day of the Athlete and the opening of the field. The main event was the tournament of 8 school teams in a new football field.
A football field was opened in one of the largest educational institutions of the district. As a result of merging with the school №58, it was reorganized into the MBOU “School №22 Education Center”. Today, 900 children are studying there, who have been waiting for a new site for a long time. Gulnar Koptelova, the headmistress, told that there are a lot of students among the pupils who are fond of football. “We have many victories, achievements. Our students were even invited to the World Cup soccer matches, they were among the children who took football players to the stadium”, said G. Koptelova and added that opening a comfortable football field with a modern coating will affect the sports results of the students. “I think we will live up to all expectations and we will bring up the world champions in football!”.
The football field was built according to the republican program of construction of multipurpose sports grounds. About 3.2 million rubles was allocated for this purpose. The contractor was the company “Tatleasing”.
Rustem Gafarov, the head of the Sovetsky district, noted that the pupils of the school deserved a new football field; it became a kind of reward for the numerous victories of the guys in football tournaments. “One of the best football teams of the Sovetsky district was created on the basis of the school. You are always listed among the winners of various competitions, including the tournament “Leather Ball”, said R. Gafarov. “Let the new field become not only a gift for the pupils of the school, but also a center of sport for the entire micro-district”. He also noted that the opening is taking place on the eve of another significant holiday, the Builder's Day, congratulated and thanked the contractors for the fast and high-quality work.

In total, seven sports grounds will be built in Kazan this year, and more than 90 in Tatarstan. Over the past year, 15 universal sports grounds have been built in the capital of Tatarstan, and 120 in the whole the republic.
