Vladimir Putin meets with representatives of the public in the CC “Moskovsky”

The discussion is focused on the implementation of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”.

At this moment, a meeting of Vladimir Putin, the President of the RT, with representatives of the public on the implementation of the national project “Housing and the Urban Environment” is taking place in the Kazan CC “Moskovsky”. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, rectors of Kazan universities, architects, activists of the All-Russian Public Front, members of the Public Chamber of the RT, students, and others are taking part in the meeting.

Before the start of the meeting, Vladimir Putin examined the CC “Moskovsky”, created based on the HoC Uritsky. This is a pilot project of the Kazan City Hall to transform the palaces of culture into modern multifunctional cultural centers, where accessible conditions are created for the creative, intellectual and physical development of children and adults.

Opening the meeting, the head of the country noted that today's events in Kazan will give a start to a series of such meetings and discussions.

“We are launching a whole set of national projects that should ensure our movement forward, the movement of Russia, the movement of the country in key areas of development”, said Vladimir Putin. He reminded that large funds were concentrated on the implementation of projects, a decision was made on the sources of financing. “It has to work like a good watch, and all the mechanisms and tools to achieve the goals are put together”, said the President. He marked: “It is extremely important to establish joint work between the federal center, the regions, and the municipal level, and, of course, those who are directly involved in the implementation of all these projects. These are public organizations, first of all, business, professional environment, professional community. We all need to join efforts”, kremlin.ru quotes the President.

The President noted that the project “Housing” is very important among all others. “This is one of the fundamental tasks in the development of the country, society, state. The quality of the living environment, the solution of housing issues determines not only the mood in society, which is extremely important, but also determines whole sectors of the development of the Russian economy”, said V. Putin.
