(KZN.RU, April 27). Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, signed a decree to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Tatarstan. The document, dated April 25, is published on the portal of legal information.
It says that the year 2020 will be the anniversary year for the republic. The proposal to celebrate this date came from the Russian government. “It is recommended the bodies of state power of the subjects of the Russian Federation and local self-government bodies to take part in the preparation and holding of the celebration”, says the document.
By a similar decree, Vladimir Putin instructed to prepare for the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Republic of Buryatia in 2023.
