A new Center of Education Workers to open in Kazan on behalf of Ilsur Metshin next spring

The facility will become a professional site for over 17,000 teachers and educators

The opening of the new building for the Center of Education Workers on Podluzhnaya Street in Kazan is planned for spring next year. Currently, construction and repair work are underway there.

The Center of Education Workers will be a recreational facility for teachers. On an area of 950 square meters, there will be a conference hall, creative laboratories, a multifunctional assembly hall, a recruitment center, studios, and various working areas. The spacious building was allocated by the decision of the mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Metshin, and the design was developed by the City Development Institute.

«We have set the goal of creating a modern educational center and today we are closer than ever to achieving it. Education is one of the key pillars of Kazan's development and its future. We have great hopes for education to attract the best professionals to the city and increase the number of people who believe education as a fundamental value», – said Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan.

The Center will become a city-wide venue for competitions and project implementation. It will be possible to discuss education issues here, including with parents, and to hold meetings between young teachers and experts.

For reference, more than 17,000 teaching staff work in the municipal educational institutions in Kazan.
