Poems and music will be performed, professors of the KFU and the Kazan Orthodox Seminary will give lectures at the event.
(KZN.RU, September 6). On September 6, the House Museum of V. Aksenov will host a historical local lore and a literary and musical evening dedicated to the 185th anniversary of Alexander Pushkin's visit to Kazan.
Hegumen Evtimiy (Moiseev), the first vice-rector of the Kazan Orthodox Seminary; Natalia Komar, the Ph. D. in Philology and an associate professor of the KFU and Kazan Orthodox Seminary; Irina Aleksandrova, the chairman of the Council of the Local Public Organization “Kazan Russian National Cultural Association”; Anatoly Yeldashev, an associate professor of the Department of General and Church History of Kazan Orthodox Seminary, professors and teachers of the KFU will give lectures at the evening.
Representatives of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication named after L. Tolstoy and the Kazan Orthodox Seminary, and the Kazan Orthodox poets will present their programs at the evening.
Poems and music of Mikhail Glinka, Alexander Borodin, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Sergey Rachmaninov, Sergey Prokofiev, Georgy Sviridov, Valery Kalistratov, and Vladimir Martynov will be performed at the evening.
The beginning of the event is at 5.30 pm. The admission is free.
