As of today, 348,038 Tatarstan citizens have been vaccinated against coronavirus.
Vaccination of holiday residents will start this week in the capital of Tatarstan. In addition, the possibility of conducting the vaccination campaign at metro stations in Kazan is being considered. This was announced today at a press conference at the Tatar-inform News Agency by Vladimir Zhavoronkov, Deputy Minister of Health of Tatarstan.
“I ask you to consider this information with a certain degree of probability, because we have not fully organized all the procedures of vaccination yet. But at least, there is such a clear intention that the population can be vaccinated even on their way to work or back home”, - Vladimir Zhavoronkov reported.
This week, vaccination of holiday residents begins in stages. Healthcare workers will visit cottage residences and offer residents to get vaccinated. The first medical teams will visit private houses in the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts of Kazan.
In total, 153 vaccination centers operate in Tatarstan. To date, 348,038 residents of the republic have been vaccinated against coronavirus (the increase is 5.5 thousand people per day). Of these, 243,658 people got the second dose of the vaccine.
“As a reminder, vaccination today is the only way to effectively prevent the disease”, - concluded V.Zhavoronkov.
