The championship DigitalSkills-2018 will be held in the exhibition center “Kazan Expo”

<p> (KZN.RU, December 6). From 12 to 16 of December, the II WorldSkills industry championship in IT “DigitalSkills-2018” will be held at the international exhibition center “Kazan Expo”. </p> <p> </p> <p> The best students of secondary and higher educational institutions of the republic will compete in “Web Design and Development”, “3D Simulation of Computer Games”, “Software Solutions for Business”, “Mobile Robotics”, “Space Systems Engineering (FS)”, and other areas. The goal of the championship is to solve the issue of staffing the digital economy. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Republic of Tatarstan in the championship will be represented by 31 participants, who will show their skills in 17 competencies. The Tatarstan team also included participants from the capital of the republic: students of the Kazan Technical School of Information Technologies, the Engineering Lyceum of the KNRTU-KAI, the school №36 the Educational Center “Galactika”, the Kazan State Energy University, the Kazan National Research Technological University, Kazan National Research Technical University named after A. Tupolev KAI, and others. </p> <p> </p> <p> Like last year, the DigitalSkills will become not only a competitive, but also a communication platform, wh ere personnel and education issues in the digital economy will be discussed. </p> <p> </p> <p> The organizers of the championship are the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the RF, the Government of the RT, and the Union of Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia). Previously, they agreed to cooperate in the preparation and conduct of industry championships in the field of information technology DigitalSkills from 2018 to 2023 inclusive. </p> <p> </p> <p> The participants of the last DigitalSkills championship held in Innopolis were representatives from more than 15 regions of the country, as well as Iran and South Africa. Competitions were held on 15 competencies. 23 gold medals, 9 silver and 8 bronze medals were drawn among 120 contestants. Representatives of Tatarstan took 10 prizes at the IT Championship, according to the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the RT. </p>
