This year, residents and guests of the city will see musical surprises from pilots and paratroopers.
(KZN.RU, July 12). On August 8-11, the International Brass Band Festival “Kazan Fanfare” will be held in the capital of Tatarstan. Four days of a large-scale music festival include performances of the joint orchestra, parade grounds, a walk along Bauman Street, and concerts in city parks.
The eighth festival will gather 19 teams and more than 700 musicians from the renowned orchestras of the Ministry of Defense of the RF, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Rosgvardiya. Regular participants in solemn parades on Red Square, international festivals, military and special operations are among them.
The collectives already loved by the citizens and guests of Tatarstan will arrive in Kazan: orchestras from the Republic of Kazakhstan, the cities of Bogorodsk and Yekaterinburg and the elegant, stylish majorettes from Nizhny Novgorod.
But most of the invited orchestras will take part in the “Kazan Fanfare” for the first time. The Ministry of Defense of the RF and the Russian Gvardiya are sending five orchestras to Kazan. The festival last year included the performance of the sailors. This year, the residents and guests of Kazan will see musical surprises from the pilots and paratroopers.
Unique “civilian” bands with their bright program will take part in the festival along with military orchestras. The arrival of the Perm provincial orchestra, one of the best brass bands of the Western Urals, is expected. The musical bands actively tour not only in Russia; they gave more than 100 concerts in 87 European cities.
The opening ceremony of the VIII International Brass Orchestras “Kazan Fanfare” will be held in the Kazan Kremlin on August 9, reports the press service of the reserve-museum.
