(KZN.RU, May 27, Alena Miroshnichenko). The newly traditional competition for residents and enterprises of the city of “Blooming Kazan” started in the capital of Tatarstan. It will run until September 25, said Igor Kulyazhev, the deputy chairman of the Executive Committee and the chairman of the Committee for External Improvement, today at the Business Monday.
Applications for participation in the project are accepted on the website until August 30. The project has been held in the capital of Tatarstan for the past five years. Organizations and citizens, participating in the competition, decorate the facades of buildings, adjacent and yard territories, front gardens with flowers.
The competition will be held in several nominations: “Best Facade Design”, “Best Yard Design”, “Best Design of the Adjacent Territory for Organizations and Enterprises”, “Best Design of the Territory Adjacent to the Educational Institution”, and “Most Original Floral Arrangement”. In addition, the project will host a photo contest “The Best Floral Frame in an Urban Environment”. Only private individuals will be able to compete for victory in the last nomination.
The results of the city competition commission will summarize until October 1. Contestants who have gained the most votes during the online voting will receive letters of gratitude and valuable prizes. I. Kulyazhev urged the leaders of organizations, enterprises and institutions of the city to take an active part in the project and meet the guests of Kazan with decorated facades, entrances, flower arrangements.
Within the framework of the “Blooming Kazan”, the “Flower Festival” will be held on the ground in front of the children's puppet theater “Ekiyat” from June to September for the fourth time. Last year, it gathered 18 organizations in the field of landscape design, landscaping, construction, housing management, and trade. It was also attended by citizens. In 2018 about half a million people attended the festival.
In addition, the social project “Cultural Wednesdays in Blooming Kazan” will continue its work during the summer holidays. It will include master classes, poetry readings, meetings with poets and writers, live music concerts, and much more.
