Kazan citizens will learn how to be tourists in their own city in the “Smena”

A historian, an architect and a photographer will speak at the lecture “How to study the urban space: theory and practice”.

(KZN.RU, April 5). Kazan citizens are invited to the center of modern culture “Smena” on April 21 to a meeting with experts who will tell about interesting places and facts about the capital of Tatarstan. The lecture “How to study the urban space: theory and practice” will help the city's residents to become tourists in it.

Sergey Galanin, the candidate of historical sciences, Milyausha Tukmakova, an architect, and Alexandra Gromova, a photographer, better known as Sasha Grom, the explorer of the unpaired Kazan, will speak for the guests. They will help residents of the city to look at it in a new way. They will talk about advertising of the second half of the XIX century, informal sights and about who is a flaneur (Fr. “Stroller”) and how to become one.

The entrance to the event is free, but registration is required on the website of the project “Kazan through the eyes of an engineer”.
