55 films entered the short-list of Kazan International Muslim Film Festival

<p> (KZN.RU, March 26). The films-participants of the competitive program of the XV International Muslim Film Festival have been announced in Kazan which will be held in Kazan from April 24 to April 30. 55 films entered the festival short-list: 10 films in such nominations as «full-length game film», «full-length documentary film», «short game film», «short documentary film», as well as 15 ones in the «National contest» nomination. </p> <p> The festival geography consists of the European countries (France, Germany, Serbia, Portugal, Iceland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, etc.), Russia, the states of the former USSR (Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kirghizstan, Tadjikistan, Armenia, etc.), USA, Turkey, Iran, the countries of Southern Asia (Nepal, Afghanistan, Bangladesh), Africa (Kenya, Morocco, Egypt), and others. </p> <p> The tatar film «Baigal» of Ildar Yagafarov entered the key competitive nomination «Full-length fiction film». The work of the Tatar producer Leila Salakhatdinova «Overtime» has been nominated for the purposes of the prizes in the category «Short fiction film». One more film made in Tatarstan entered the appropriate competitive nomination, - the full-length documentary film «Shihab Hazrat» of Salavat Yuzeev. </p> <p> 15 different kinds of films of the Tatar producers are in the nominee list of the category «National contest»: from the full-length fiction film «Water maid» of Alexey Barykin to the animation film «Seven pearls» of Sergey Kiatrov, as the press-service of the festival informs. </p>
