As many as 250 students gain advanced knowledge in the exact sciences
SIBUR specialized classes were opened at six schools in the capital of Tatarstan this year. The program is implemented at schools № 183, 64, 81, 130, 135 and 181.
High school students will study advanced chemistry, physics and mathematics, and will be prepared for the Unified State Exam by teachers from leading universities, including professors from Moscow State University. Students will also have the opportunity to get acquainted with petrochemical enterprises and participate in SIBUR-related workshops and programs.
In addition, graduates of the specialized class can receive targeted admission assistance upon admission to university. «This contributes to creating a continuous educational pathway from the eighth grade to employment”,- the city's education department reports.
A total of 250 students from grades 8 through 11 are enrolled in SIBUR specialized classes. The first such class was launched last academic year at school № 182.
