A multidisciplinary school №186 “Perspective” for 1224 places opened In the Privolzhsky district of Kazan

Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilsur Metshin held a meeting on the construction of kindergartens and schools.

(KZN.RU, September 2). In the Privolzhsky district of Kazan, a multidisciplinary school №186 “Perspective” for 1224 places opened on R. Gareev Street. Today, a conference call on the construction of general educational and pre-school educational organizations in the framework of national projects was held on the territory of the educational institution.

The meeting was held by Dmitry Medvedev, the Prime Minister of Russia. It was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Irek Faizullin, the minister of Construction, Architecture and Communal Services of the RT, Rafis Burganov, the deputy prime minister and the minister of Education and Science of the RT, Ilnar Khidiyatov, the head of the Department of Education, and others.

In the course of the broadcasting, Rustam Minnikhanov reported to the head of the Russian Government about the opening of a new multidisciplinary school №186 “Perspective”. “We are in front of a multidisciplinary school, which was built as part of the national project “Education”. This is a wonderful school for 1224 students. There are great rooms, two swimming pools, two gyms and excellent equipment. Today 317 first-graders have come to this school”, said Rustam Minnikhanov.

He noted that by the new school year, 5 schools and 2 large outbuildings with 5.7 thousand places had been delivered in the republic. By the end of the year, 2 more facilities for 1650 places will be delivered. According to the national project “Demography”, 17 kindergartens for 3330 places were delivered by the beginning of September. Another 10 kindergartens for 2400 places will be commissioned before the end of the year.

“In addition, we are implementing republican programs for the overhaul of educational institutions. As part of these programs, 147 facilities were updated, mainly schools and kindergartens. In general, the education system of the republic is fully ready for the start of the school year. Thank you for your support”, marked the President of the RT.

Rustam Minnikhanov also thanked the Prime Minister of the RF for his assistance in organizing the WorldSkills Championship in Kazan.

“I must also thank you because such a holiday would not have happened without the efforts undertaken by the leadership of the RT and all residents of Tatarstan. It passed at the highest level. Congratulations again on this. It really was a very important event in the life of our country, in the development of secondary specialized education, the emergence of new qualifications. Everything turned out very well”, said Dmitry Medvedev.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister noted that a large-scale construction project was launched in the country as part of the national project “Education”. About 200 billion rubles are allocated for the creation of new places, putting schools in order, eliminating the third shift, building schools in the countryside from 2016 to 2021 on the terms of co-financing, to the regions. Due to them, over 155 thousand new places have already appeared.

D. Medvedev said that by the beginning of the school year, more than 170 new schools had opened their doors, 58 of which were built on a federal resource. Until the end of 2019, more than 200 objects are expected, of which 67 are being built with federal funding.

Dmitry Medvedev also touched on the topic of preschool education. He noted that in 75 regions, the problem of queues in kindergartens for children from 3 to 7 years has been completely resolved. More than a million places were created, reports the press service of the President of the RT.

“Now we have already approached another important project: ensuring access to nursery groups. We presume that such access should be ensured by 2021 throughout the country. Money for these purposes is also provided in the budget. From last year to the end of 2021, there were 157.5 billion rubles. Due to this, it is planned to create 235 thousand additional places for children under three years of age. About 20 thousand have already appeared”, added the Prime Minister of Russia.
