<p> (KZN.RU, October 9). Today, the work on preparing the park “Chernoe Ozero” for the winter began in the park. Workers began to drain the artificial reservoir, on the site of which a skating rink will appear in December. </p> <p> </p> <p> Specialists will have to pump out water and clean the lake fr om dirt and garbage. As the water is drained, the fish in the lake will be transferred to the open water reservoir on the Kazan Lake. </p> <p> </p> <p> Employees of the contracting organization have already begun the work, which will end on October 17, reports the Directorate of Parks and Squares. </p> <p> </p> <p> The skating rink in the park “Chernoe Ozero” will be done in December, as soon as the air temperature would decrease to at least 4-5 degrees below zero. </p> <p> </p> <p> The skating rink in the park “Chernoe Ozero” was opened in December last year. It was poured in a bowl of the lake. Next to it, there is a rental point and a cafe. Special fences are installed along the entire perimeter of the rink with an area of 6.5 thousand square meters. At the main exit to the rink, there is a wooden multi-tiered scaffold wh ere you can rest or put on skates. The park, which, along with the Leninsky Garden, is a monument of landscape architecture of the XVIII-XIX centuries of regional importance and is considered one of the oldest parks in Kazan. In winter, a New Year's town opens in it, festive performances are held, and professional figure skaters perform at the rink. </p>
