Trainings for heads of gardeners’ non-commercial partnerships at the new headquarters of the Kazan Gardeners’ Union

<p> Kazan branch of the Gardeners’ Union of Tatarstan moves to a new office. The office was donated to the organization after the renovation. Now Kazan residents have an opportunity to meet in spacious rooms on the first floor of the building at 36 Vosstaniya Street, as well as to get expert advice and attend training classes. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin welcomed the gardeners in the new office and discussed the organization's plans for the coming years. </p> <p> The city branch of the Gardeners’ Union of the republic of Tatarstan was established last year, but they did not have their own office. The branch was located at 85 Richard Sorge Street, where Tatarstan Gardeners’ Union is located. The number of members of organization is increasing and there was a need to expand the office, so at the beginning of this year, the Executive Committee of Kazan donated an office with an area of 98 sq. m at 36 Vosstaniya Street. On October 22, Kazan branch of Tatarstan Gardeners’ Union opened after the renovation. </p> <p> The head of the city noted that today in Tatarstan, in particular in Kazan, a great deal of work is underway to assist gardeners’ partnerships. “Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was one of the first in the country to address issues of gardeners, a program of assistance to gardeners’ partnerships was implemented in the republic. In Kazan, almost 20 km of power grids, 14 km of new roads have been built in three years, sites for garbage collection have been equipped. Your task is to support this entire infrastructure”, - Ilsur Metshin addressed the leadership of the Kazan branch of the Gardeners’ Union of Tatarstan. </p> <p> Since 2017, a program of assistance to gardeners’ partnerships has been implemented in Tatarstan, under which 550 million rubles are allocated annually for the development and repair of the infrastructure of the gardeners’ non-commercial partnerships (GNCP). As of today, the program covers 43% of the GNCP of Kazan. </p> <p> The head of the Kazan branch of the Gardeners’ Union of Tatarstan Sergey Evstratov told the Mayor that the organization has ambitious plans. In total, there are 442 gardeners' partnerships and more than 360 thousand gardeners in the city. All of them, according to the head, require assistance. Therefore, the new department conducts training seminars for the chairpersons and new members, consultations on environmental, utilities and legal issues. “We are often approached by residents who live in dachas a year-round, we help them in concluding contracts with utilities companies”, - Sergey Evstratov said. </p> <p> The head of the city got acquainted with modern developments in horticulture. In particular, he was shown a sorbent that reduces water consumption, micro cloning of plants, as well as a liquid, which is equivalent to a truck of fertilizer. Ilsur Metshin supported the initiatives of the Kazan branch of the Gardeners’ Union of Tatarstan. </p>
