180 thousand tourists visited the Kazan Kremlin in the New Year holidays

This is almost two times more than for the same period in 2017.

(KZN.RU, January 11). 180 thousand tourists visited the Kazan Kremlin during the New Year holidays. This is almost two times more than in the same period in 2017 when 96 thousand people visited the territory of one of the main attractions of the Tatarstan’s capital.

The growth of the tourist flow has affected the entire republic as a whole. It increased to 130 thousand people in comparison with 110 thousand last year.

27521 tourists visited the island Sviyazhsk (an increase of 6%). Guests of the Great Bolgar were 7527 people (+ 20%). Elabuga State Reserve-Museum was visited by 5823 people (+ 38%).

Also, high attendance was observed in the residence of Kysh Babai and Kar Kyzy. During the New Year holidays, 6500 guests visited it, reports the press service of the State Committee for Tourism of the RT.
