200 thousand people visited the fair at the yard of the Government Agencies.
During the New Year holidays from December 25 to January 8, the Kazan Kremlin was visited by more than 230 thousand people, 200 thousand of them visited the fair at the yard of the Government Agencies.
New Year's activities and children's performances started in the museums of the Kazan Kremlin on December 16. Master classes, quests, guided tours of exhibitions and a performance were organized for visitors. In total, 25 thousand people visited the Kremlin museums during the New Year holidays.
The Museum-Reserve offered an excursion program during the holidays. It was visited by 27 thousand people. The visitors got acquainted with the history of the ancient fortress and urban legends at the New Year's Fortress tour, and during the bus tour “New Year's Kazan” they saw festive sites of the city.
This winter, for the first time, the yard of the Government Agencies was opened for tourists. On December 20, a New Year's fair started here, and on December 25 – a festive program. It included children's performances, excursions, theatrical performances, musical evenings and reading fairy tales by Kazan actors. Kazan residents and tourists were able to see the production of “Lost Lightness” from the “Tall Brothers” Moscow Street theater. In total, 32 events took place in the yard.
In addition, for the New Year's fair, the team of the Zhivoy Gorod (Lively City) Foundation prepared the play “The Dream of Father Frost – Kysh Babay Toshe”. Six screenings have already been held in the yard, four more are expected on January 13 and 14 at 16:00 and 18:00.
Inclusive events became a special part of the program: a tour of the yard and one of the performances took place with a translation into Russian sign language, the Press Office of the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve reports.
