The art object for the Cosmonautics Day was made at the bus stop “Gagarin Street”.

A portrait of Yuri Gagarin, a pilot-cosmonaut, a legendary man, Hero of the Soviet Union, appeared at the bus stop in the Moskovsky district of Kazan for the Cosmonautics Day, which is celebrated today. On April 12, 1961, Yuri Gagarin made the first orbital flight around the globe.
Graffiti with the image of an astronaut can be seen at the bus stop “Gagarin Street”, between the streets Korolev and Gagarin moving towards the city center. It took the artist of the street art studio Pshik less than a day to realize the project. The graffiti already collects dozens of positive reviews and comments in social networks.
Also, a master class on the cooking of a festive “space” cake and biscuits, organized jointly by the Department of Food and Social Catering of Kazan and the administration of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts, will be held today as part of the celebration of the Cosmonautics Day at the CKS “Moskovsky”. Future cooks and confectioners, pupils of 5 grade of the gymnasium №102 will take part in the culinary event.
