In the Moskovsky district of Kazan, a kindergarten “Malyshok” opens after the renovation, where they teach to make cartoons and bonsai

The Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin inspected the progress of work at the preschool, where a nursery group opened after the renovation.

In the Moskovsky district of Kazan, the kindergarten No.279 “Malyshok” for 200 children opened after the renovation. The preschool has changed beyond recognition: bright, comfortable rooms, a new gym, and classrooms for creativity were designed for the kids. In addition, thanks to the overhaul, a nursery group was opened. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin inspected the quality of renovation. “We visited the preschool before the renovation, discussed together with teachers and parents the plans. All the plans managed to come to life, now there are brand new conditions. This is a real little palace for kids”, - he said.

“Due to the renovation, a sports hall was designed at the preschool, a nursery group was opened– the Mayor noted. – And not only the building was repaired, but also the adjacent territory was landscaped. It is good that all the trees have been preserved. We are satisfied with the results of the work”. Olga Fedotova, head of the kindergarten, told the Mayor that the building is equipped with a security system, CCTV cameras, and a panic button.

The kindergarten was built in 1969 and has never been overhauled. During this time, the requirements for preschool facilities have changed. The work started in May last year. A professional designer developed the project.

Presently, there are 180 children and 10 groups in the preschool.

“We have five groups on the ground floor, all rooms are equipped with floor heating for children, - O.Fedotova added. – We also have everything provided for toddlers from the nursery group: comfortable bedrooms, beds and other furniture. All equipment meet the safety conditions: for example, the corners of the furniture are rounded”.

The head of the city inspected the kindergarten, visited the new gym and talked with the pupils. After the renovation, new educational classes opened– children can learn the basics of animation for an extra charge. As O.Fedotova informed the Mayor, the kids with the help of teachers, make heroes of modelling clay, shoot them on the phone and create cartoons. One of these animated pictures, created by pupils of a preschool, was presented to the head of the city. “The idea is wonderful. The main thing is that children develop”, - I.Metshin said.

Another feature of the kindergarten is the relaxation room, where children can relax after classes, and also get to know the flora and fauna better. The children learn to take care of the fish and sea turtles that live in the aquarium, and also study the Japanese art of bonsai, said teacher Lilia Ismagilova.

In total, 15 preschool facilities have been renovated in Kazan under the renovation program this year, the Mayor noted. “The improvement of preschools for 2,500 young Kazan residents was carried out, - the head of the city added. – We will continue this work. Let the kids grow up healthy, develop, and make happy their parents and all of us”.
