A new terminal will be opened at the Kazan International Airport

<p> The new terminal will open at Kazan International Airport named after Gabdulla Tukay. Its construction is planned to begin next year, said Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in his address to the State Council of Tatarstan. </p> <p> This year the airport will serve more than five million passengers. </p> <p> In addition, in the near future it is planned to replenish the fleet with new TU-214 aircraft manufactured by the Kazan Aircraft Factory. To date, the Tatarstan airline UVT-Aero operates flights from the airports of the republic to 40 destinations. </p>
