The Easter Fair will be held for the first time in Kazan

The cultural and entertainment programs were prepared by the reserve-museum “Kazan Kremlin”, the Kremlevskaya Embankment, and others.

According to preliminary data, the average load of Kazan hotels for the May holidays will be 62.8%. Darya Sannikova, the director of the Committee for Tourism Promotion, told about May holidays in Kazan at the Business Monday today.

An extensive entertainment program will traditionally be prepared in Kazan. On May 4 and 5 from 12 pm to 8 pm, the Easter Fair will be held on Bauman Street for the first time in Kazan. There will be a shopping arcade, decorated in the symbolism of the holiday. The fair will feature products of local farmers, bakeries and cheese manufacturers, souvenirs from Tatarstan craftsman. The participants of the fair will be restaurants and cafes of Kazan. Guests will be able to taste the products and participate in numerous master classes in cooking various dishes.

Performances of music and folk bands, drawing competitions, master classes in cooking Easter cake and coloring Easter eggs, drawing prizes are scheduled at the fair. A children's entertainment zone will also be organized, said D. Sannikova.

The entertainment program will also be held on the summer terrace of the restaurant “Tatarskaya Usadba”. During all the May holidays, the accordionist will play and musical groups will perform there. Artists will perform compositions in Russian, Tatar, and English.

The guests of Kazan will be able to get acquainted with the culture of Tatarstan in the complex “Tugan Avilym”. Interactive theatrical performances with dances, songs, and fun will take place there at 6 pm and 8:30 pm from 1 to 4 of May and from 10 to 1 of May.

The cultural program was prepared at the reserve-museum “Kazan Kremlin”. Quests, free tours, weekend programs, dedicated to the Great Victory are planned for visitors. The schedule of events can be found on the Kremlin website.

In addition, a flash mob “We Remember” will be held on the Kremlevskaya Embankment on May 8. On May 9, the embankment visitors will celebrate Victory Day with a field kitchen and a concert program. Quizzes and contests await the guests of the holiday there.
