During the May holidays, over 227 thousand tourists visited the Kazan Kremlin.

The reserve-museum became the most visited tourist center of Tatarstan from 1 to 5 of May.

(KZN.RU, May 15). The Kazan Kremlin became the most visited place for recreation and tourism in Tatarstan during the May holidays. From 1 to 5 of May, the island-city of Sviyazhsk, the Great Bolgar and Elabuga also became the most popular tourist centers of the republic.

Thus, the State Historical-Architectural and Art Reserve-Museum “Kazan Kremlin” in this period received over 227 thousand tourists, which is three times more than the same figure last year. Then it was visited by a little more than 85.6 thousand people.

For comparison, over 53 thousand tourists visited the island-town of Sviyazhsk during the May holidays. The Bolgar State Historical and Architectural reserve-museum received over 28 thousand tourists during the holidays. More than 21 thousand guests took tours of the Yelabuga State Historical-Architectural and Art reserve-museum, reports the press service of the State Committee of the RT on tourism.
