The third meeting of the cadets of the Russian Investigative committee was opened at the KFU

The department has expressed gratitude to the Mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Metshin at that event.

(KZN.RU, March 30, Ekaterina Vislavskaya). The third convocation of the cadets of the Russian Investigative Committee (RIC) started in the imperial hall of the Kazan (Privolzhsky) Federal University (KFU). The opening ceremony was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin, head of the Investigation Department for the Tatarstan, lieutenant-general of justice Pavel Nikolayev and other honorable guests. The department has expressed gratitude to the Mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Metshin at that event.

The convocation of cadets has been held since 2016. This year, Kazan was chosen as the site for it. About 200 people came to the meeting- students of two Cadet Corps of the RIC, 16 schools and lyceums from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vologda, Kemerovo, Murmansk, Novosibirsk, Stavropol, Khabarovsk and other Russian cities, as well as current employees and veterans of the country's investigative department.

Opening the meeting, the cadets solemnly brought in the flags of Russia and Tatarstan into the Imperial Hall, as well as the banner of the RIC; after that, the national anthems of Russia and Tatarstan sounded. The ceremony began with a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the fire in the Kemerovo shopping center.

"The demand for systematic development of cadet education is proved by time,"- the head of the department of educational and training work of the RIC, hero of Russia Sergei Petrov addressed to participants of the meeting. "Even now, looking at you, I feel a military outfit and discipline, and in general, training in the system of cadet educational institutions allows you to get a high level of psychological training, as well as leadership skills, knowledge of the basics of etiquette and good-order rules, motivation for an impeccable public service."

The participants of the meeting were greeted also by the rector of the KFU Ilshat Gafurov, the dean of the law faculty, the chairman of the public council at the Investigation Department of the Republic of Tatarstan Lilia Bakulina, the bishop of Kazan and Tatarstan Feofan. Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin told the guests about the concept of the cadet education’s development in Tatarstan for 2017-2020 , which involves 15 cadet organizations with 4188 cadets. The chairman of the regional public organization of veterans of investigative services of the Republic, Kafil Amirov, awarded two cadets with memorable gifts for help in preparing the meeting.

After that, Sergei Petrov presented the awards. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin, the head of the Nizhnekamsk municipal district and the Mayor of Nizhnekamsk Aidar Metshin, the scientific director of the law faculty of the KFU, the professor of the criminal law department Ildar Tarkhanov were awarded with the medal "For Assistance". The chairman of the regional public organization of veterans of the investigative services of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kafil Amirov, was awarded with medal of the RIC, "The veteran of investigative services". The gratitude of the RIC was announced to the rector of the KFU Ilshat Gafurov, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the rector of the Kazan Innovation University of V.G. Timiryasov, Asiya Timiryasova. Dean of the KFU ‘s law faculty, Lilia Bakulina, head of the Kazan’s Highest Tank Command Academy, Kirill Kulakov, Heroes of Russia- Gazinur Khairullin, Alexei Korablev and others received valuable prizes from the committee. In addition, the medals and signs of the RIC were awarded to employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the judiciary.
