The Department of Oriental Written Culture will open in the KFU

It will be created jointly with the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

(KZN.RU, January 26). The KFU and the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences will create a Department of Oriental Written Culture. The opening of this department, which is scheduled for September, is timed to the 200th anniversary of Russian academic oriental studies.

The basis for the creation of the new department of the Institute of International Relations, History and Oriental Studies of the KFU was an agreement on cooperation between the university and the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It was signed in October last year and significantly expanded the possibilities for the interaction of organizations in the field of science and in the implementation of educational projects.

The creation of the department of the KFU at the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences will open new opportunities for university students studying in specialized areas of training, as well as for specialists conducting research in the field of Oriental studies, reports the press service of the KFU.
