The movie “I Don’t Want to Die Yet” was shot in Kazan, Zelenodolsk, and St. Petersburg.
(KZN.RU, April 10). A special screening of the film “I Don’t Want to Die Yet” about the young inhabitants of besieged Leningrad will take place on April 13 in the Kazan CLC Lenin. Creators and members of the creative group will present it to viewers.
The film’s creators Marina Musienko and Natalya Pankratova, as well as screenwriter Olga Goryacheva, told about the wartime children. They did not understand what was happening around them, why the bombs are blast outside the window, why the siren howls so terribly, why their fathers are gone, and why they are hungry all the time. Filming took place in Kazan, Zelenodolsk, and St. Petersburg.
The film gathered actors of the Kazan Theater of Young Spectator Nina Kalaganova, a People’s Artist of the RT, Pavel Gustov, an Honored Artist of the RT, Anna Ivanova, actors of the theatrical studio “Skaz” of the Kazan Sunday School of the Parish of St. Seraphim of Sarov.
The project was created by the Tatarstan regional branch of the public organization “Orthodox Youth” and the Production Center “National Corporation” with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation and the Ministry of Culture of the RT.
