A celebration dedicated to the Day of the Builder was held at the CLC Lenin

(KZN.RU, August 24). Today, a solemn event timed to the Day of the Builder took place in Kazan. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, Leonid Stavitsky, the first deputy minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Rustam Nigmatullin, the first deputy prime minister of the RT, Irek Faizullin, the minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services, representatives and veterans of the construction industry took part in the celebration.

The event and the festive concert took place in the cultural and leisure complex “Lenin”. It was overhauled in the past year, and the first Kazan municipal cinema was opened there in June.

Before the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the exhibition of communal and construction equipment organized on the site in front of the CLC building. Later, the equipment will be given to the municipalities. In total, this year the municipalities will receive 117 units of special equipment, reports the press service of the President of the RT.

“Dear builders! From the bottom of my heart, I want to congratulate you on your professional holiday and to thank you for your hard work. Thanks to you, every year we build and repair hundreds of facilities throughout the country”, said Rustam Minnikhanov in his welcoming speech.

The President of the RT addressed words of gratitude the veterans of the industry. “This base was not created in one day. Our construction industry, design institutes, services, working for the construction complex were formed due to you”.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the powerful construction complex of the Republic contributes to the solution of many strategic tasks. These are the implementation of projects in the field of oil refining and petrochemistry, the development of social facilities, the construction of sports facilities in order to popularize mass sports. “The main thing is that we are creating what will please the people of our republic for many more years”, added the President of the RT.

Then, Rustam Minnikhanov presented state awards to the veterans and workers of the construction industry.

The first deputy minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation marked that Tatarstan is one of the leaders in the country in terms of the development of the construction complex. “Construction workers of the Republic have long established themselves as professionals in their sphere. Therefore, no major project implemented in the territory of Russia cannot be done without involving Tatarstan builders”, added Leonid Stavitsky.
