Representatives of the Kazan Executive Committee and the Turkish company TTAF discussed the prospects for joint cooperation.
(KZN.RU, July 3, Alena Miroshnichenko). The delegation from Turkey was welcomed today in the Kazan City Hall. The meeting with representatives of the business sphere of the Republic of Turkey was held by Lyudmila Andreeva, the deputy head of the Kazan Municipality. The participants discussed the preparation of a project to open production facilities of the company TTAF in Tatarstan, as well as prospects for joint cooperation.
Deputy heads of the Kazan Executive Committee Ildar Shakirov and Iskander Giniyatullin, Artur Valiakhmetov, the chairman of the Committee of Economic Development, Rifat Khannanov, the head of the Information Technology and Communications Directorate, and Albert Ibragimov, the deputy chairman of the Committee on External Improvement, took part in the meeting. The Turkish side was represented by Kaan Yalchin, the director of TTAF business development in the Eurasian region, Khakan Akan, the director of TTAF for solutions and operations, Abdul Khalim Sertbash, the general director of Rovenma, Schadi Chaatay Ozturk, the technical director of Rovenma, as well as Tatiana Fedorova, the deputy head of the general secretary, the head of the department project activities of the Assembly of Peoples of Eurasia, and Vladimir Yakunin, the director of client work of the Eurasian Development Bank.
“Kazan is a historically industrial city. Almost all industries during the Soviet era were stationed here. And Kazan has preserved all this. And throughout the entire history, they are improving”, Lyudmila Andreeva told the guests. “We can talk a lot about the development of Kazan in all sectors. But our advantage is that all the projects that we are implementing are fully supported by the Government of the Republic. In addition, Tatarstan is one of the most advanced Russian regions”.
A. Valiakhmetov and R. Khannanov spoke about the investment opportunities of the capital of the republic. Thus, the chairman of the Committee of Economic Development reported on the growth of tourist flow, the industrial potential of the city. He added that numerous technology parks, technopolises and business incubators allow new companies to emerge. The Head of the Information Technology and Communications Department spoke about the development of innovative technologies, mentioning areas that might be of interest to guests for the implementation of joint projects.
The program of the Turkish delegation during the visit to Tatarstan is quite extensive. For three days, the guests held numerous meetings in the ministries of the republic; they visited Innopolis, where they planned to build the production facility of TTAF.
The TTAF Elektronik deals with electrical connection solutions for the defense, aerospace, automotive, industrial, and telecommunications industries. Also, there are LED lighting applications, including wiring harnesses and cable assemblies. Products are exported to more than 65 countries.
Kaan Yalchin, the director of TTAF Business Development in the Eurasian region, thanked the representatives of the Kazan Executive Committee for the hospitality and information provided. It will help develop an action plan for the implementation of production. “Colleagues from Turkey unconditionally advised us to pay attention to Tatarstan and Kazan for the project implementation”, he said. The director of TTAF expressed hope for productive joint work in the future. Representatives of the Kazan Executive Committee supported the initiative.
