A new kindergarten with an interactive teaching will open at the Solnechny Gorod residential complex in Kazan

Rustem Gafarov, head of the Executive Committee, inspected the readiness of the preschool for the academic year.

At a spacious building with an area of 3,000 sq.m on 16a Garifa Akhunova Street in the Privolzhsky district of Kazan two social institutions will open – a polyclinics and a branch of kindergarten No.4. Rustem Gafarov, head of the Executive Committee of the city, got acquainted with the progress of repair work today. “All financial issues have already been resolved, now we should comply the timing. Parents and children are waiting for a sunny holiday at the “Solnechny Gorod” by September 1”, - he said.

The building was built in 2015 and put into operation at the end of 2017, and in September 2020, it was decided to open urgently needed social facilities here – a polyclinics with a separate entrance and a kindergarten. As R. Gafarov was told, the combined kindergarten will consist of eights groups. “The waiting list for the kindergartens is long in the district. Three existing kindergartens are already overloaded. Therefore, we really need this preschool facility”, - said Marat Zakirov, head of the administration of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts. According to him, preparatory work is currently being completed at the facility. Now workers are checking the ventilation system and the access control system.

Funding for 10,498,000 rubles has been allocated for equipping the facility, said the head of the kindergarten Marina Safiullina. “The list of the equipment was formed, only the most necessary items were included in order to start working as soon as possible. We will make interior decoration after the end of the repair work”, - she said.

R.Gafarov visited the music and sports halls, medical office and food hall.

The issue of staff recruitment is challenging. As R.Gafarov was informed, presently only a cook, three teachers and two tutors were hired. The head of the Executive Committee instructed the Department of Education to help the kindergarten with staffing.
