(KZN.RU, May 16). The World Nordic Walking Day will be celebrated on May 18 in the Uritsky Park with the festival of the same name. There will be a free training session, where professional coaches of the International Federation of Nordic Walking will teach you how to pick sticks correctly, answer questions and help to pass the distance.
The participants of the event will learn the original complex of exercises before passing the Nordic walking track. Together with the professionals, they will pass the Nordic walking track and will also take part in a quiz where they can receive prizes for their activity.
Andrey Volkov, Ph. D. in Medical Sciences, a member of the Scientific Committee of the International Nordic Walking Association (INWA), the Vice-President of the Russian National Association of Nordic Walking (RNWA, St. Petersburg), will be the guest of honor of the festival.
Free training starts on May 18 at 9 am in a ravine near the sports grounds of Uritsky Park. Registration for participation will be available on the website on the day of the event, reports the Directorate of Parks and Squares of Kazan.
