The Kazan Museum of Socialist Way of Life to present an exhibition on the 85th anniversary of Vladimir Vysotsky

Visitors will enjoy live performance at the opening of the exposition.

On January 24, an exhibition on the 85th anniversary of Vladimir Vysotsky will open at the Kazan Museum of Socialist Way of Life. Visitors will have an opportunity to see the originals of legendary works from the private collection of St. Petersburg photographer Valery Plotnikov.

Valery Plotnikov was a friend of V. Vysotsky. It was he who conducted a joint shooting of the singer and his wife Marina Vladi for the cover of the record, which was later released in Germany. His works also used for vinyl covers of the Melody company and tabs in audiotapes. They could be found on posters, wallpapers and pocket calendars. The images were published in many magazines.

The Museum of Social Way of Life informs that the exhibition will show stereo, books, magazines, souvenirs, vinyl discs, handwritten notebooks with poems and badges associated with the memory of Vysotsky. Guests will be presented with a poster of the Taganka Theater and tickets for the Hamlet performance.

Rare exhibits were included in the exhibition thanks to the concert director V.Vysotsky Valery Yanklovich, as well as actor and producer Anatoly Balchev. Visitors will be able to see a copy of the book “Vladimir, or the Interrupted Flight”, authored by Marina Vladi. The work was given to the museum by translator Yulia Abdulova

At the opening of the exposition, visitors will have an opportunity to listen to songs of Vladimir Vysotsky performed by Kazan musicians.

The exhibition will open at 14:00 at 6 Universitetskaya Street.
