Nikita Kryukov, an Honored Master of Sports of Russia, will take the 50-kilometer start together with skiers.
(KZN.RU, March 9). On March 10, the Kazan Ski Marathon will be held in Yudino at the stadium “Lokomotiv”. More than 700 skiers will take part in it. Athletes will pass a distance of 5, 25, and 50 km.
Thus, 400 participants will enter the start of the 50-kilometer race, 100 people will pass 25 km, and more than 200 amateur skiers – 5 km.
Also, one of the participants of the marathon will be Nikita Kryukov, a Russian skier, the 2010 Olympic champion in the personal sprint, the silver medalist of the 2014 Olympics in the team sprint, three-time world sprint champion, and an Honored Master of Sports of Russia. The athlete will enter the start of the 50-kilometer race.
The honorary guests of the marathon will be the legends of world skiing in the 70–80s Nikolay Zimyatov, a four-time Olympic champion, and Alexander Zaviyalov, a two-time World Cup winner.
The starter packs for participants will be handed over today from 10 am to 7 pm at the stadium “Lokomotiv”, said the organizers.
